Film Synopsis

Korea’s Black Market, where everything is for sale. Even your life.

Young-Gyu was the best. He was an Organ Dealer, smuggling body parts for sale to the highest bidder. His crew was the best – an organized team of professionals with top skills and no conscience. But when one of them dies on the job, the crew scatters.

Now he fronts stolen goods, and has fallen in love with Yoo-Ri, a ticket agent at the port terminal. Her father is dying, and when she turns to a ruthless loan shark for help, Young-Gyu  goes on a search to find his old partners for one last job. – Well Go USA

My Thoughts

Traffickers is what it sounds like. The film deals with people trafficking drugs, money, people and what ever else but mainly organs. In this film you follow a few guys who are in that business. The film has some big twists and turns, gore and nudity. But not much action, granted it’s not supposed to be an action film but more of a thriller / crime / gore film. I enjoyed the film a lot and thought the score in the film fit well and sounded great. For me I might watch it twice so I can catch a few things that may have slipped my mind. It’s that kind of story.

The Good: Plot, Gore, Nudity, Crazy Twists, dark, score, and good acting.

The Bad: A little long, some dialog was weird like a guy saying to another guy who has just crashed a car while on top of the car, says…stop the car…after they have crashed.

The bad list is small the good list is big and for me The film is a must watch. After viewing and thinking about the plot, you start seeing a few things you didn’t notice and I like that. It’s a movie that might keep you thinking after it’s over.

With that said, The film isn’t classic but it’s not to far off in my eyes. I give the film a Score of 4.5 out of 5. Go pick it up twist seekers, Korean film enjoyers, blood lovers …and so on.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
