The Sound Quality Is Great. Its laud and Bassy. It also has a cool score to it and sound effect like punches and some one getting knifed sounds realistic.

Picture Quality

Disc Format: Blu-Ray

The Picture Is pretty sharp but at times it’s a little Grainy due to the low lighting and or that’s just what the director wanted for the style. Overall the film is dark at times but colors pop and again pretty sharp.

My Thoughts

For The Emperor brings the viewer action and romance and or should I say Nudity. The action in the film is pretty good with only a few action scenes in the beginning. The start of the first half is filld with the Main guy making his way up in the crime life after getting busted for taking losses for baseball games he pitched in…for the money. Lee Min-ki the main actor does a great job. Looks familiar but when I see his filmography I noticed I seen non. But this guy does a good job especially when he puts his game face on when he is acting like that knife he grabbed when it was swung at him didn’t hurt. This guy is playing a bad ass but also seems like he doesn’t want anything like the money he was giving for a job and or a car he turned down but ultimately took.

Yes the action is fun the story is cool the chicks are hot…even hotter naked. But I wished we could have had some more story. A Background on the main actor or some smaller things like when he goes out on a date and for some reason he starts holding hands with this hot chick who he has been staring at for the first 20 minutes of the film. Also a small 2 second clip of the guy who is his boss giving him the car he turns down saying….Your going to need it, so when it goes to the next scene of him driving you don’t go well I guess he took after all even thought he through the keys back in the glove box.

The Film gets heavy and confusing with plot twisting at the end but still the story stays interesting. The action is fun and sometime brutal and bloody, A Guy get beat to death with a frozen fish so that was fun. Did I say thee was some Nudity and a good amount of knives entering body’s.

Overall the film is a fun watch, with good action, story, twists, acting and boobies. The bad would be, I wish they would have added more story as in fill in some blanks and character build up on the main actor and his baseball carer.

With that said I give For The Emperor a 4 out of 5, Worth buying and watching but if your strapped hit up Netflix when it hits.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
