The collaboration of director Chang Cheh and action star Chen Kuan Tai proved to be one of the most enduring of kung fu s golden age, and nowhere were the two more inventive than when journeying back to the era when the Ching Dynasty fell and the Chinese Republic was born.

My Thoughts |
This is a Shaw Brothers Production with the collaboration of director Chang Cheh and action star Chen Kuan Tai you can’t go wrong or can you.
This Political fueled action film is about china needing a reform and the younger generation willing to change the direction and push its future in the right way to rid of the corruption but those in charge labels them rebels.
The movie is Slow and the action is good but not a lot of it. To Tell you the truth I didn’t mind the film and don’t mind the story line. Some of the death scenes are non visible as the camera would pan away as one of the heroes would die. The action is a mixture of sword fighting and hand to hand combat and only sports 16.5% of the run time is action with a The ending scene try’s to carry a message but it kinda messes up the ending for me………………
Other than a few things the film isn’t bad. The film is based on true events. would I recommend it? Sure…Would others recommend it? I would say it would be 50/50…For thou’s who have viewed this film Please tell me what you think of the film.
I rate this film : 3.5 out of 5
