Over all the sound was good, car crashes were loud and the fight scenes sounded real. Gun shots could use some rumble.
Rating:
Video
Disc Format: Blu-Ray
The Picture Quality of the film is pretty good, tons of scenes with deep blacks, popping color, with an over all tint on the film that is cool feeling mixed with Grey. Sharpness stays through out even in far distant shots. Good looking film

My Thoughts |
Donnie Yen is back with another action film that mixes Hard Hitting Action with Gangster Drama. First and foremost the action was great, as it was MMA/ Street Style fighting which I loved in Donnie Yen’s Flash Point. The fighting was realistic and Something you don’t see much is the fighters face shows wounds during the fight and some get pretty cut and bloody.
The Good – Action was intense and hard-hitting. Donnie Yen’s acting takes a turn for the good as I see how hard he worked on his movements, how he walks talks like a gangster but also his facial expressions. Some parts had me rolling like Donnie throwing up the middle finger at a few guys on the other side of the class while he was beating the crap out of their friend. Run time seemed like a good run time not to long and not to short at 99 minutes. Also that chick can kick some ass too even though she doesn’t fight much but its the same style as Donnie’s
The Bad – The story was OK with some plot holes. Some of the score (could use some work). Other than that I didn’t see too much wrong.
Over all I really enjoyed the film. After the view I read some reviews and found that this film only gets a 5 out of 10 and I’m blown away by that. I Think some folks went in thinking, hey this Donnie Yen! we will see non stop action and him going Ip Man on folks. Some hated the story as well as they went in with High expectations as they put it. For me This film ranks a lot higher and I was entertain the whole time while watching like looking at how good the Blu-Ray looks, seeing Donnie Yen act and also making me LOL a few times. Story was OK not great but I liked the story.
With every thing said I rate this a 4 out of 5
We could use some more back story, fewer holes and A Tad more action and some more shoot outs, this could have been a classic.
I Recommend it to Donnie fans, action Junkies and who doesn’t like seeing Donnie Play a bad ass with tats on his neck. Go out and buy this its worth having on the shelf.
