My Thoughts

The Taking of Tiger Mountain Is a War film that starts at present time (2015) and at first didn’t know what the whole Beginning was about until the end. The Film is Full of explosions, gun fights and Skiing with a Tiger attacking in one Scene. The Film has a few story’s within going on that make for one good Story. An army taking over a Mountain held by a gang, A Spy who infiltrates the gang, A Kid who lost his entire family, and The Guy at the beginning who is in Present day (2015) While the rest of the story Plays out in the 40’s.

I Have the say the movie is pretty good with tons of action but also filled with great story and Planing. Granted there is CGI and for the most part looks good but you can tell when its fake at times. The film also looks pretty good on Blu-Ray which makes the film even better along with its sound pushing out my Theater set up.

Overall I feel the film is good watch and deserves to sit on your shelf. I would say Prepare and plan to view this one as the film is 2 hours and 20 minutes long. For the Lazy don’t be put off by no dubbing, This movie is made to be viewed in its Original Language.

With that said I give The Taking of Tiger Mountain a 4.5 out of 5. Check it out or give it a rent. I Say Buy it as Most Well Go USA’ Blu-Rays come out with a pretty low Price point.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
