My Thoughts |
Z Storm is a movie about ICAC taking out corrupt police in which some are involved in a big financial fraud. With this film you get a lot of back and forth between witnesses talking with ICAC or the corrupt police officer or the guy pulling the strings with twists, turns, and death.
The film isn’t an action film its a drama thriller with some action but mostly dialogue ether the bad side scheming and or the good side strategizing trying to catch the bad guys making a mistake. For me the story seems scattered with a fast pace or sometimes a slow pace in the plot. The good side is the acting was pretty good, and the PQ is fantastic on Blu-Ray. I didn’t feel bored while watching and the story even though it felt scattered still held my interested. What action was involved I felt was good. Basically all the action in the movie is at the end and conceits of a shoot out and one hand to hand combat fight.
Overall the film was a good watch but not great. From other reviews I have read last year this film seems to miss the spot for most but for me I guess I more lenient if a move keeps me interested. The sound track also makes the move a little better I feel.
With that said I give the film a 3 out of 5. Give it a shot rent it first and or if you’re a fan of the actors and like good acting buy it and support Well Go USA.
