This morning, he woke up in a hospital bed with a new arm – but it’s a super-powered Zombie arm that wants to kill him, and anything else it can reach. Martin’s PISSED. And with the help of his new Zombie Squad pals (Martin Starr, Jocelyn DeBoer, Ingrid Haas), he’s gonna deliver some payback to Colonel Herzog and his precious Nazi gold – by raising an undead army of his own. – Well Go USA

Audio/Video

Audio

Audio Language: English, Also Dubbed in Norwegian

Overall the film has great sound and good sounding sound effects. Zombie Dialog is overly deep but you can hear what is being said granted I don’t understand the Language which is German. The other actors speak in English.

Rating: 4.5 stars

Picture Quality

Disc Format: Blu-Ray

The Picture Quality looks good, deep blacks, and popping colors. The over all tone is dark so I suggest you view this film with the lights off so you can see all the details.

My Thoughts

This sequel of Dead Snow for me is a decent film and worth the view. What would make it better is if I watch the first film as I was a tad lost on how the Dead Nazi’s work and how they are alive and the magic powers you see semi with in the Sequel. I enjoyed the film so I think I will enjoy the first and perhaps would enjoy part 2 a little more after that viewing. But! Hey, I’m still going to tell you what I think.

Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead is a good watch that has some great sound so turn you volume up. The over all Effects as in visual, looks pretty good with a good amount of gore to back that up. The film has that Evil Dead Like feel to a Point, as in the horror mix with Comedy.

The Good – The film has some good gore, death scenes both realistic and comedic. Zombie Royal Rumble, Sick throw up in your mouth ending.

The Bad – The story could be better, Nudity would be great, and some of the comedy could use some work.

Overall the film was a fun one that could have been even better with a viewing of the first film (I Think). I found the plot Decent but overly fun, the comedy was acutely enjoyable for me. A Small cut of the film would have made this film a fraction better in my opinion as it runs 100 minutes. The Zombies arent your normal zombies as they talk and have a mind, and the Good guy who gets a Zombie attached arm finds control over it who also finds out he can do a lot more than he knew he could, That’s where the Red vs Dead Comes into play. It’s a Keeper

With that said I give the film an above medium rating of 3.5 out of 5. I think you could have some fun with this. Give it a rent or pick it up.

– Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short. –
