Picture Quality

The Picture Quality is pretty good. Its sharp but could be a tad sharper. Black levels seem OK but a little more work would have made the film look better and colors pop just not vividly.

My Thoughts

Just Visiting is a story telling adventurous time traveling Comedy remake. Now the film gets medium reviews but for me it was fun and funny at times. Now I haven’t seen the original (Les Visiteurs) so I can’t contrast and compare but in most cases its best to see the Remake first as they are not better.

I enjoyed all the actors and the funny bits were pretty funny at times even though some things could get over the top. The film is basically a king and his peasant who must time travel back in time before his wife died but accidentally was sent in to the future where cars and toilets are very odd things to see. With a plot line like that you can tell some of the mischief that might occur in this film. Now it’s not the greatest film nor an award-winning piece but it was a fun view.

Overall the film is a fun one. Its movie where you can just sit back and relax and take in some of the humor. As for the down side of the movie, it does get a tad goofy like a kids like film but most of the stuff that goes on is more adult. So its kind of hard to say if this film will be meant for kids.

With that said I give this film a 3.5 out of 5. It is fun light-hearted comedy that may put you in a good mood. Go pick this up and give it a shot. If you enjoyed the King and Peasant in this film, they are the two original actors from the original film which I might have to look into which stars Leon The Professional Fame Jean Reno.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
