The sound is in line with the PQ. No distortions, sound effects sound good but the gun fire could use a Base boost in parts of the film.

Picture Quality

Disc Format: Blu-Ray

The Picture Quality looks good, blacks are deep and colors pop. The sharpness is good but not every pore on the face sharp. Its more a smoother sharpness in a lot of scenes and that could be the Computer Effects used.

My Thoughts

Another Zombie Comedy but this one Hails in Amsterdam and not the weed house and sex shop section, it’s the modern city portion. The Quote on the Blu-Ray Cover sums up the film pretty good “If you cross Shaun of the Dead with Scott Pilgrim VS. the World, You’ll get Kill Zombie” As per what The Hollywood News Wrote. Only thing is for my I loved both those film but this one doesn’t stand a chance. It’s a decent watch with some cool action mixed with some Video Game like Graphic pop ups.

The Good. Sexy Female Lead. The main actor is good and out acts the rest of the cast. Lots of Zombie kills, plot is OK.

The Bad: The Effects used to create the film like gun fire is pretty fake and I can do better om My computer, Some of the score is annoying mainly the tracks meant to be comedic in tone, no nudity.

Over all the film is mediocre with a simple plot line that is not bad, the film has its fair share of actions but some of the comedic portions are a turn off for me but some of it is funny. Not necessarily good and or bad thing is that the zombies bleed green. If they threw in some twist and turns, better Computer effects and maybe ate least one topless scene this film could be better and a change of some of the portions of the score.

Is the film for you? It could be if you want to see a funny zombie film with more exaggerate comedy compared to other Comedy Zombie films, don’t mind reading subtitles and is more on the B side of things then I say go for it. I found it fun and if in a better mood would maybe find it a tad bit better. I think Weed would do wonders here and perhaps that is how the film was filmed as well.

For me I give Kill Zombie a 2.5 out of 5

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
