My Thoughts

Nightmare Sisters is a Horror film meets Revenge of the Nerds. Three female roommates invite three guys over and play with a crystal ball one of the ugly ducklings bought at a flea-market. The three female changed into hot bang-able chicks who also want to get down with the three guys. Turns out the girls are possessed and really are looking to take a bite out of things.

The story is very small but and yet funny too. The intro was off but when the movie makes it half way the intro makes more sense. Acting is pretty is not that great but it fits the low-budget comedy horror. No Gore but half the movie the three women are topless trying to take a bite out of the guys the whole time and they don’t want brains. I Did find my self laughing a few times but more so enjoying the nudity.

Overall the film was a decent watch. The movie has a medium rating but does have a cult following. I’m in the middle and it depends on your mood. The film is a more on the goofy side kind of slap sticky in the comedy, bad acting, but tons of good visuals. The Blu-Ray quality is really good-looking on top of it all.

With that said I give Nightmare Sisters a 3 out of 5. Don’t go in looking for scary horror. Go in with the slap stick Comedy nude filled horror themed film on mind.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
