My Thoughts

The Last house is a Psycho Horror film that Deals with the life of a Call girl who wants to quit but is willing to Do one last Job. Now The Synapses on the DVD is somewhat accurate but I wouldn’t say that’s what the film is about as that story line is like 10 minutes of the movie. The Main Story or the longer running portion of the story revolves around the main Call girl who wants to quit and not the saving of her. Now another problem is You don’t know that the three People who hired the call girls are Escaped Mental Patients unless I missed something.

Staying on the Negatives, Two names involved with the film Felissa Rose of Sleepaway Camp Fame is only in the film for 10 seconds. Jason Mewes who you should know but if not he is Jay from Jay and Silent Bob Films. He is the boyfriend of the Main Call girl but he is not in it a lot. Another Negative would be that the film goes from crazy people to Psycho to a Ghost Story. The should have left the whole ghost portion out as its pretty corny.

Positive wise the film is a decent watch with good-looking gore. I wished there were more of it but hey it still looked good. Also Nudity is involved but Its a small portion. It was good seeing Felissa Rose but wished she had a bigger role. Also Good to see Jason Mewes out side of his Jay Character.

More negatives than positive but overall the film was an OK watch for a Low Budget film. Acting wise was good and the Main Mental Patient was the better of the bunch. Add more nudity since it does deal with call girls with scenes where they are performing sexual acts but with cloths on. More Blood and Guts, Subtract the Weird ghost Element and I feel the Movie would be a Good watch

With that Said I have to give this film a 2 out of 5. Just wished they could have used Felissa more and didn’t add the Ghost portion which just didn’t make sense. I know there is a Market for this movie and for those who love Bad Movies will love it.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
