Film Number 46: Mulholland Dr.

What is this? Another David Lynch film? O yea and another one that I have not seen yet. This movie gets mediocre reviews but has a strong following and from what I read and seen, This film looks like it could be good. So why not just Pop this in the Blu’s and let the fans rejoice this film with supreme Picture Quality.

The film has a good cast and the story is dark and twisted, sounds like a movie I could watch. So Mr Big Blu! Lets get this on the Media Disc I so desire that is Blu-Ray.

Film Number 47: Men at Work (Update: Released on Blu-Ray)

 

Here is a film I enjoyed as a child but probably shouldn’t. Men at Work is the 2nd film on this list that stars Emilio Estevez and also this film costars his brother the warlock, Who doesn’t want to see this?

A couple of Trash men discover some things they shouldn’t have and now are on a weird and dangerous path. As a kid I knew this wasn’t meant for me but I knew better, this was a fun film with comedy and action that I enjoyed. Men at Work isn’t a Mediocre film, it’s a step above that and has a good following with a good cast. Lets get the Dumpster ready and throw the DVDs and replace them with the Blu Please.

Plot: Carl and James are two pleasant but unambitious garbage men. Carl has a telescope with which he observes his neighbors. One evening he sees a man giving a female neighbor a hard time. As she leaves he shoots the man with a pellet gun. Hiding, he and James miss two men strangling the man and leaving with the body. When he appears in a can on their route they are afraid and hide the body, fearing that they may be implicated in the death. Trying to crack the case, they spy on the woman, join up with a slightly to majorly crazed Vietnam vet, kidnap a pizza man and help to protect the ecology. – IMDb

Film Number 48: Airborn

The shark was in the water on this one and only those who have seen this Knows what I just said. Wiley I mean Seth Green costars in this film and is very young but the main actor is great. The story is fun and makes the youngsters like I was want to throw on some Blades and hit the pavement.

Airborn is definitely a fun film to watch and the ending is just full of greatness with a bunch of guys who are rolling down the devils backbone to in teams to see who is the best. Before that happens you get a fun story with great skate scenes and comedy that brings with it. Lets get this Classic (0’s Teen film on the Blu so I can relive my Past please.

Plot: Mitchell Goosen is sixteen/seventeen year old kid from California who loves to surf and roller blade. Yet, his parents, who are two zoologists were given a grant to work in Australia. The only problem was: Mitchell couldn’t go with them. So, he gets sent to stay with his aunt, uncle, and cousin in Cincinnati, Ohio. When he arrives, he meets his cousin who is also his new roommate for the next six months: Wiley. Mitchell then goes to school and gets on the bad side the high school hockey players. Mitchell and Wiley end up enduring weeks of torture from the guys. Then, the big guys and Mitchell and Wiley have to learn to get along to try to beat the Central High School rivals in a competition down Devil’s Backbone. – IMDb

Film Number 49: Red Beard

 

Uh Oh another Asian film, Another Akira Kurosawa Film and another film I haven’t seen.
All of Akira Kurosawa films should be On Blu and every one should at least own Seven Samurai but for Me I want them all and this film is the one I want next Criterion.

Legendary duo team Toshirô Mifune and Akira Kurosawa are the only words that need to be told for this to be on Blu. So why the hell is this not on Bl-Ray Criterion. Stop with only Putting out a few classics a month and release more or at least release all the films I want on Blu First haha.

Film Number 50: Summer School

Its summer time and School is no more until a few months later so when this film comes on its fun to watch. Summer School is full of Fun and greatness. The story is good with teen comedy that All kids enjoyed along with adults.

Its been a while since I seen this and I’m looking for this on Blu soon so I can get refreshed on the story and the amount of fun this film was back in the day. Lets Go Blu, Get the cracking and put this film where it belongs in Blu.
