The Crossing: Part 1 is John Woo’s next film where he will sit behind the Camera to bring us some Asian Action. From the title you can tell its going to be in a few parts and by that its in 2 parts altogether. From The trailer it looks like a good epic action film with intense war battles, explosion mixed with drama that is Titanic like. The Crossing: Part 1 Stars: Zhang Ziyi, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Song Hye-kyo, Huang Xiaoming, Tong Dawei, Masami Nagasawa and is due to hit big screens in China on December 2, 2014 with part 2 in May 2015. No Word on a USA Release and if they will do the same as they did John Woo’s Red Cliff Part 1 and 2.
Plot: Based on the true story of the Taiping ferry that capsized on January 27, 1949 in the Baijie Strait (about 71 miles southeast of Shanghai, China), the film revolves around an epic love stories of three couples.
