My Thoughts

Brotherhood of blades is full of great action via swordplay some hand to hand and other weapon combat, story, blood and plot twists that will keep you entertain throughout the almost 2 hour run time. On top of that the film on Blu-Ray is top-notch on Picture Quality and sound so pick that version up so you will have a complete movie experience.

The Good: Actors are great, Action looked good with a good amount of blood, The story hit the spot, and the Blu-Ray disc itself.

The Bad: Could use a tad more action with some more hand to hand would have been awesome. Needed some more character build up.

Overall the bad list is very minor but if it was corrected it would be a 5 out of 5 film for me. The action in the film was great but your not going to see something you never seen before as in fight choreography and I’m not going to say i Didn’t like that because I was entertained throughout the film.

Any Martial art film fan, Well Go USA Movie collector or some one who likes action should put this film in their collection. I Give this film a 4.5 out of 5. At the time of viewing I felt it just hit the spot for me. I think it will do the same for you.

P.S. The artwork kicks ass on this Release.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
