Picture Quality

Disc Format: Blu-Ray

The Picture Quality looks good crisp and sharp details with solid colors and deep blacks. Some of the color filtering could be tone down a tad.

My Thoughts

Overall the sound is good no distortions, guns and music have a deep bass but vocals seem to high.

Dragonwolf deals with 2 friends who grew up together who end up being hitmen and both involved in a love triangle. As for being hitmen, I didn’t know that as I had to read the plot, it seemed to me they run crime organizations as I never seen them on a job performing a hit. The film is filled with action that is fun and on some notes creative at points. The other portion of the film that deals with flashbacks and romance. The film gets way confusing until the end and the start of the film rushed as you see a baby that needs help. That baby gets help from some black magic like doctor. Next scene, the baby is 10 years older, Another few scene later his an adult. The acting isn’t good from the start and this could be due to the vocals.

The Good – Great fight scenes, Boobies, cool cars, insane looking houses, Hot chicks, Cool ending.

The Bad – Acting, Music during sex scenes make it feel as if I was watching skinamax, confusing story that is in and out of flashbacks, not that great of a plot.

Overall the film for me is Medium, Thanks to the action and Good looking women. The house at the end is insane and wish I good visit, but some set locations are bland. The story wasn’t that good but other things help redeem the film to a Mediocre watch. Again I enjoyed the ending due to the hot chick who go’s topless, a head rolls, and that house is one I wish I can own. If they would shorten the film added some sorta filter or text when a flashback runs, more boobs (never hurts), Take out Porn music during soft-core sex scenes and better acting would make the film pretty good.

P.S – This should help you with the flashbacks. Just remember the main 2 guys are wearing the red and blue suits in present time and the rest are flashbacks.

I would say if your interested in the film check it out, maybe give it a rent first. I give the film a 2.5 out of 5.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
