Film Synopsis

When a prominent drug dealer is murdered, Sergeant Acosta (Joey Marquez) and Federal agent Francis (Piolo Pascual) lead the investigation, but the trail goes immediately cold.  What they discover is a conspiracy of massive scale:  the killers (Joel Torre and Gerald Anderson) are inmates, temporarily released from jail as assassins before returning to incarceration.

Prison. The last place a cop would look. A perfect cover-up.

Caught in a web of deceit and corruption, Acosta and Francis are on a collision course with the government officials who will do anything to silence them – and no one is safe. – Well Go USA

over all the sound is good with no distortions. The sound track fits the film and sounds good. Gun shots could use more bass and the sound it self seem a tad off
as its deep and muffled sounding somewhat. The film is only in the Language Filipino but you get a few lines with in this film in English.

The PQ you looks pretty good with sharp Picture and great colors. Love the over all tone of the film as it feels like its tinted with a grayish blue tint that bakes this film look
more dark and gritty. Its Dark and gritty but with great PQ. At the beginning I seen some weird debris or rain water on the lens that shows up red. Pic below. Not sure what that is but it doesn’t take away as it’s not really noticeable. Not as great as a Pixar film but its close. With the photos below you can see how sharp the PQ is and how the colors look. Photo Taken with a DSLR in a dark room by me.

My Thoughts

Wow! I think I just seen that at the beginning of the film its said this is based on true events. Pretty crazy if so

On the Job is a pretty good film with tons of turns that lead to a dark place. The acting is pretty good the action is great, and the story is crazy. I don’t want to say too much about the film itself as I don’t want to Spoil it for you guys. You just have to take my word for it that this film is a Must own.

At first the film was a Tad slow and some things seem out-of-place as the way it was edited but, after it picks up you start to understand what was going on with those parts of the film.
As for a down side of the film…. I can’t really point out any to tell you the truth. Yes its about 2 hours long but that wasn’t a Problem as I got lost in the film. The ending is pretty crazy, whole Evey thing turns out with who dies, who lives who’s bad and who’s good.

With every thing said above and I know it’s not much but just Hype It’s hard to give the film a low score. I was debating on a 4.5 but like I said above, I cant find any thing wrong with the film except that I enjoyed it

I give On the Job a 5 out of 5. Great Job Guys.
