My Thoughts |
This Film is about the 3 guys who grew up together training in a camp ran by one of the boy’s father teaching muay thai. The school gets shut down and the father travels with his oldest son to compete. The 3 Boys left behind find themselves following their teachers foot steps after hearing about the death of one the boys brother who turned into a big fighter.
Along the way 2 of the boys get sick of training and fighting and not getting any where so they go one direction while the one boy go’s off and becomes a one of the best fighters like his brother. The other 2 find themselves in the life of crime.
I know long description, The fights are not like a Tony Jaa film as its more competition fighting in the ring the traditional way. The film doesn’t actually focus on the fighting it self but is more based on story.
The story is decent as you follow the ups and downs of the 3 best friends in the fighting wold also in the crime world. The 2 boys who went into crime found themselves paying off fighters to take a fall so the bosses would profit on the bets. The movie was off and on for me, at times the story seems good and then seems like it’s rushed almost looks as if I was making a movie with a good camera at times. The ending was decent and you find out the main reason why the 2 boys where committing the crimes.
I say rent the movie if you can even find it for renting. Action as in hand to hand combat was minimal and the film didn’t really Go into depth with Muay Thai.
The quality of the DVD was good on a Hi-def T.V for not being Blu-Ray, and the film does have the option for English dubs.If the story wasn’t rushed and had more action like fights outside the ring..not gun on gun i would rate this a little higher.
I would like to see other views on this film as well to see what other think that have seen this film
I give this film a 2.5 out of 5
