My Thoughts |
This is a Shaw Brothers film distributed by Dragon Dynasty. This movie Sports a 23 Year old Gordon Liu Who turns rebel against the Ming’s after he see’s their dirty ways against his people. His School teacher get’s him involved in the rebels plans along with the other students. The Mings find out they have been delivering messages to outside help through Gordon’s father’s store.
The Ming’s kill off every one except Gordon Liu’s Character who made his way to the Shaolin temple to get away from the Mings and to also learn martial arts to help teach the other rebel’s to defend.
The film has some great fighting scenes and also has a lot of training scenes. With Gordon Liu you can’t go wrong, in this movie he is great. The thing with this film compared to others is that most of the folks in the movie no real martial arts, making the fight scenes more authentic and more enjoyable.
The 36th chamber of Shaolin is in my top 10 of martial arts films. If you haven’t seen this film go buy it belongs in your collection.
I gave this film a
5 out of 5
