My Review:

Three is like a Medical Crime Drama that kicks to Super Saiyan action the last 15 minuets. The Plot of the film revolves around Hospital dealing with brain injuries and a doctor who tries to help her patients the best she can. Enters new patient, A Guy shot in the head by a police officer who is fed up with his job so that he prevents the doctor from doing her job. Through out you have the victim playing both cop and doctor and cop playing doctor. The victim is buying time for his cronies to break em out. Action fills the screen the last 15 minutes with a burst of explosions that at first you don’t know what it is as you just see ceiling tiles rippling and then boom. Enters guys with guns slow motion of bullets ripping patients diving and dying, cops getting shot bad guys getting shot and a ton of confusion. Who ends up dying and living?

The plot is on the slow slide a slow burn a ticking time bomb and at first or most of the film it’s just a medical drama dealing with a few cops and a guy shot in the head, and of course the other patients in the room. Action wise its pretty dull until the last 15 so don’t go in thinking you’re getting action through out. Near the end we get a guy stabbed in the ass before the whole action take place which has its comedy side to it and only time that its has a comedy bit to it. Acting was good with a few words in English. Picture Quality looks great on Blu-Ray and sound is also pretty good.

Overall the film was a good watch for me as I did go in not knowing if this was a big action film or not, dealing with Johnny To though you would think action would be huge through out but her its more like a wick burning until the bomb explodes. Action was fun and interesting to see but at times the story does get slow and somewhat confusing in bits.

With that said I give Three a 3 out of 5. Most give the film a 4 from what I Have read but maybe its due to my lack of Energy today. I say give it a try if you like the slow burning action films with a nice explosion of shoot outs at the end.

It may be a miss for some but I think most will find it pleasing at the end. Just remember its a Medical Crime Drama for most of the film. The ending is an Action film.
