Travis, an underground comic book artist with a penchant for obscene caricatures, upsets a Chinatown crime lord who responds by cutting off the young man’s hand. As a despondent, drunken Travis wallows in post-severed hand depression, his decomposing limb returns to life and is determined to exact revenge. Soon, Travis and his mischievous appendage join forces with a masked S&M superhero to rid the city of evil. Filmmaker Matt O.’s debut feature strips Canada of its “land of nice” image with this deliriously offensive, gory, and happily un-PC horror-comedy! – Artsploitation Films

Audio Language: English

The sound Quality is pretty good with good surround sound. No distortion sand dialogue is clear. Bass tones are also good through out.

The picture quality is good. Sharp detail and the colors pop but could be a tad sharper. Over looks pretty good for Blu-Ray

My Thoughts

Bloody knuckles is a gory comedy with fun action and a head stomping good time. The story is over the top and gets a little cuisine it. I like the story and liked the over the top gore. Acting wise could be a tad bit better but doesn’t get in the way.

The story is about a comic book writer who gets his hand cut off after creating a comic about a local bad guy. His hand come to life and takes revenge but in between we have the guy who lost his hand fighting with that hand. Also the hand makes some pretty funny co it’s about his old host. Also would like to point out the news broadcast during the movie was pretty good having Canada riot due to their flag stuck in a pile of shit and placed in a jar of piss as art had me loling.
Good story or should a say fun. Good action and gore, over-top plot mixed with good loughs makes this movie a fun watch and a must pick up. Want to note we also get some nudity.

With that said I’m giving this film a 4.5 out of 5 as it was a fun watch. Yes it’s over the top with the hand running around killing people but for me it’s fun. Go pick this movie up if you find the synapses on the back cover interesting and or viewing the trailer.

P.S. Don t forget to check out the two shorts in the extras. They were also a fun watch if you in to horror and gore. I’m going to keep my eye open on these guys and upcoming projects.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
