About:

IT S A HEADACHE FROM HELL!

From Frank Henenlotter, the man behind such cult horror favourites as Basket Case and Frankenhooker, comes Brain Damage the ultimate head-trip, now finally on Blu-ray!

Meet Elmer. He s your local, friendly parasite with the ability to induce euphoric hallucinations in his hosts. But these LSD-like trips come with a hefty price tag. When young Brian comes under Elmer s addictive spell, it s not long before he finds himself scouring the city streets in search of his parasite s preferred food source brains!

Featuring late TV horror host John Zacherley as the voice of Elmer, Brain Damage boasts some of the most astonishing bad taste gore-gags ever realized, including the notorious brain-pulling sequence and another that let’s just say ends with a distinctly unconventional ”climax.

My Review:

Brain Damage is a Horror Comedy that deals with Tripping and a little Creature that befriends a guy and makes him go out so he can eat brains. This Creature can talk and its kinda goofy, seems innocent and child like trusting thing until the gore hits and he his eating through a skull. Most of the movie showcases are lead getting is brain coated with some blue substance this creature spews out and he goes off tripping. While he goes out tripping seeing weird shit and colors are creature finds humans to feast on.

The Story is small and really not much to be said, it has some fill, buts about the weirdness and the gore and the adult humor at times while some chick gives are lead head but it’s just the creature she is sucking on while it drives in to her brain. We have decent gore, some nudity, not much of a story with some holes but over all its entertaining.

I Say if your into horror comedy with gore and some weirdness and a goofy vocal overlay to a creature you should find this one entertaining. The Blu-Ray looks great and sounds great too. I Say give it a shot horror fans

With that said I give this film a 3.5 out of 5
