My Thoughts

Crimes of Passion is a Neon lit Thriller that gets pretty porn like at times. Two story’s collide when A Hooker by Night Hard day Worker during the day is being followed buy are lead who was hired to see who she is. The Lead a Married man who’s never cheated ends up falling of the wagon when he starts surveillancing are main Female lead. who by the way gets pretty deep with and could hurt his at home life. On another hand we also have a stalker, a dangerous personality who may get in the way.

Story wise the film was a decent, filled with humor, sex and daily life. I like the main male and his wife’s relationship on screen as it seems fun but also kind of hard at times. But what really shines is are Hooker played by Kathleen Turner. Love the character as she is a mystery but also very good at her night job with role-playing and handling her customers. Her fast talking happy, raunchy attitude switching charisma fills the screen. Nudity fills the screen at times but not a ton and the acting was good. The down sides are at time it can run slow also the story has a bunch going on. With the directors cut we have everything we want to see and the cut sexual acts and other things we need.

Overall the movie was a good watch with some create stand out performances thanks to are hooker who seems to like what she does but them also doesn’t as she fill sad right after but then kicks up a gear right after feeling sad. I enjoyed the film and From what I’ve read the film has a following with an overall medium ratting.

With that said I give Crimes of Passion a 4 out of 5 as I really enjoyed Kathleen Turner’s role. Pop in the disc and select the longer version as it’s the way to view. Sit back laugh at times and enjoy the character China Blue you dirty pervert you.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
