Five friends go camping on the rugged coast of Vancouver Island, Canada. Things start to go seriously wrong while partying with two Australian surfers.
| My Thoughts |
Dark Cove is a Horror Thriller Camping Film Dealing with 5 Friends out camping at this cool beach surrounded by woods. Seems like they are not alone as they run into Two Australian Suffers and that is when Things go down hill.
The Story is an OK one as it has been told many times before just not word for word. Acting wise the film is decent and Production was pretty good for this Low Budget film first Tim Director. Filled with twists , turns, Sex, Drugs, and Murder with a hint of Comedy but I have to say Horror wise its small as its more party and Thriller. Death , gore and the thriller aspect of the film hit after 48 Minutes of the film leaving the rest about killing. Down Sides are no Nudity, Acting at times is OK like I said Above but can get over the top and along with tome of the Dialogue.
Overall the film was a decent watch. It’s not breaking any records or taking any awards but it’s still has entertainment value for viewers.
With that Said I give Dark Cove Are right down the middle Rating of a 2.5 out of 5. May be a hit or miss but if you’re looking for a campy horror with some comedy that has a low Budget view, Give it a shot.
