Picture Quality

Disc Format: DVD

The Picture Quality was good for DVD not Great. We get a good bit if film grain and dirt along with other artifacts older film reels will provide. Not that it’s a bad thing as the Picture is still view-able with no pixelation.

My Thoughts

Forbidden Zone is a Very over the top Film that’s part Musical, Comedy and Trippy elements. The Background sets are hand drawn with live action in front of it and the whole movie itself is very out their.

I feel the film is a Like it or hate it and its not for every one but definitely will provide entertainment as its theatrical with what seems like a film for kids but has Nudity and Foul Language. I would check the trailers before viewing, but I have to say for me it was entertaining. So much stuff is going on and most of it makes no sense.

Overall I did find my self Laughing and liking how trippy the movie is. Its way out there but again its enjoyable to those who can tolerate the crazy.

With that said I give this film a 3.5 out of 5. The film comes with two version, one in Black and White and the Other Color. I say give it a shot.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
