The Picture Quality is just like the Sound Quality as in how good it is. Its sharp and the colors pop. Can’t complain, but it’s not 5 star sharpness, its close.

My Thoughts

The Road Within Is a Great film that deals with mental Health and the struggles that the characters in this movie go through. It’s not dark and not deeply serious, it’s some what light with some comedy aspects that is used in a good way. What I liked about the film is not only the acting and the actors who Ive seen in other films and enjoyed, but how each person plays of each other and at times each persons illness creates a domino effect with each other.

The film runs with three main actors who meet in a place where they are being treated, doesn’t start this way and I wont give any main details on plot. Robert Sheehan plays a guy with Tourette’s syndrome, Zoe Kravits plays a woman with anorexia and my main man Dev Patel who plays a guy with OCD and a Germaphobe. I loved all three actors and I can’t forget about Robert Patrick who plays Robert’s dad who is impressed by his son. Every one did a great job here. Also if you buy this film don’t forget to see the Interviews in the extra’s where each actor breaks down their character.

The Story has everything, it has adventure, compassion, heart, sadness, joy, and some funny moments. Also want to throw out that it also has some nudity. I really liked the story as I went through different emotions throughout the film, even a trickle of a tear. Hey! Ninjas sometimes cry, it burns but we do it too.

Overall The film is great. Awesome acting, great story and it dives into mental illnesses and how those who have certain ticks, issues or mental obstacles get through and or battle / give in to or try to hide it what they are dealt with and how they move on from it and live with it and and so many and’s.

With that said I give this film a 4.5 out of 5. If you don’t go buy it, at least rent it. It’s a good watch and worth the viewing even though Robert Patrick doesn’t turn into liquid metal.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
