Audio
Audio Format(s): Mandarin, English
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish
Over all The Audio Quality is good but in some scenes I didn’t like the comedy cartoony sound effects. The Dubbing was decent as well with Jet Li’s Voice actor was a more rugged sound. But For me I like hearing the original actors voice.

Disc Format: Blu-Ray
The Blu-Ray looks pretty good with great colors and deep blacks and no artifacts and what not. Some of the down side would be the CGI Effects were some what cheap.

My Thoughts |
Jet Li is back but… Not as the main lead but more of the guy who shows up When needed. Badges of fury is an Action Comedy and for me I knew that going in so that made this film a more enjoyable watch than if I didn’t know.
Badges of fury has some good action here and there and I liked the Jet Li vs Jacky Wu Fight Scene. Some of comedy was fun and Jet Li’s part was fun as well as Jet Played a grizzled veteran cop who busts balls, Comedy Wise and action wise. The last fight scene with Jet had a small sense of Jacki Chan and with that Said, with in the film you get a few Jackie Chan and Jet Li film Titles thrown around. I Did like all the actors and actresses involved and the cleavage that was thrown around.
Things that didn’t go so well with me were Some of the comedy essence of the film, granted I did like a few bits and Jet Being serious but funny. I didn’t like the cartoony sound effects through the film, and The CGI wasn’t that great. The story itself wasn’t all the great with a twist in the plot but that couldn’t help the story much. Not a bad thing for me was Some of the scenes inside the Police station with the actors talking and joking felt like a Comedy Police Show.
Overall I feel the film was an OK watch and was fun to see Jet do what he did. Cut the cartoony sound effects out, add some back story, and upgrade the CGI I think this could have been a more enjoyable film for me as a Comedy Action film.
I don’t hate it but I don’t love it either. I think I would have still bought this even If did see it first just because it has Jet Li in it.
I gave this film a 2 out of 5 and was juggling whether to up it a half star as It did leave some good memorable moments in my mind.
