Picture Quality Disc Format: Blu-Ray The Picture Quality is pretty good. Yes the film presents film grain but the PQ is Sharp and Colors look really good. For death Walks at Midnight we do get some film damage at the top near the end but its pretty small Rating:

Thoughts on Death Walks Twice – Box Set

Death Walks Twice is a Boxset featuring two films Death Walks in High Heels and Death walks at Midnight. Both Italian made are in Italian and English Languages or you can use the subtitles. Both films star the same female lead and also has a few other actors starring in both films. For Me the First film was my favorite as the pace was a tad faster but had more of the mystery turn after turn plot while the second film (Walks at midnight) was a little slower but still had some twists and turns but just not as much.

Over all the Boxset was a great watch with the first film (Walks in High Heels) Being a pretty good film followed by the second film which was good as well but not as good.

With that said I say this Box set should be in your collection. I give the Boxset a 4 out of 5 stars which is the average rating for both films. Pick it up.

Death Walks on High Heels

Synopsis

In Death Walks on High Heels (1971), exotic dancer Nicole (Navarro), the daughter of a murdered jewel thief, finds herself terrorised by a black-clad assailant determined on procuring her father s stolen gems. Fleeing Paris and her knife-wielding pursuer, Nicole arrives in London only to discover that death stalks her at every corner.

Death Walks in High Heels is a Mystery that keeps turning all the way up until the end. Even after the everything is solved we still have something that is off. I’ll say it involves a Switch Blade, That is all I will say.

The Story is pretty intriguing due to the mystery of everything. Every time someone new enters the Picture the plot makes it look like maybe they are involved. Acting was good and the film does have some Nudity. We also have some gore and lets say someone gets the Joker treatment. Another portion which bugged the hell out of me was the whole eye surgery scene that had me squeamish.

Overall the film is was a pretty good watch and I highly enjoyed this deep mystery with tons or turns and twists that also leaves the ending still twisted even though everyone thinks its over. Short review but I don’t want to give anything away as I did have to delete some of the stuff I had written here.

With that said I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5 Stars. Go pick this up and put it in your collection. Yes its a good film but it also looks pretty good on Blu.

Death Walks at Midnight

Synopsis

Returning in Death Walks at Midnight (1972), Navarro stars as Valentina a model who, in the midst of a drug-fuelled photoshoot, witnesses a brutal murder in the apartment opposite hers. But when it becomes clear that the savage slaying she describes relates to a crime that took place six months earlier, the police are at a loss – forcing Valentina to solve the mystery alone.

Death Walks at Midnight is a Mystery film dealing with Drugs that ends with a twist of a Knife in the Plot. The film is a tad slow but when the 2^nd half of the film hits the mystery slowly unravels and becomes more entertaining. Sadly this film isn’t as gory as Walks in High Heels the first film in the boxset and nor does it have Nudity.

The plot was good but slow but like I said the Twist and turns help the film but what I like most about this film was the score, I enjoyed it a lot. Like the first film the action portions hand to hand fights show the age of the film but the gore was still good when it hits.

Overall the films is was a good watch but wished it was a tad faster and made the mystery deeper. Add some nudity and lots of more gore and the film would have been just as good a the first film. I’m not saying its bad as it’s still a good watch

With that said I give this movie a 3.5 out 5 Stars of and is a fun view and even better if you find the score of the film as enjoyable as me. Check it out.
