First up it’s A film called Fist of Legend and no… It’s not the Jet Li Film. Fist of Legend is a Korean MMA related movie and stars Hwang Jung-min (New World), Lee Yo-won (May 18), Yoo Jun-sang (R2B: Return To Base) and Yoon Je-moon (Doomsday Book).

Fist of Legend is Due in to punch the big screen in the face in Korea on April 10 2013.

Plot: A moment of bad luck derailed Deok-kyu’s Olympic dreams and led him and his friends to jail. Jin-ho got out of jail quickly because of his rich parents, but Deok-kyu, Jae-seok, and Sang-hoon were not so lucky. Years later, while running a noodle shop to earn extra money following an accident involving his daughter, Deok-kyu accepts an invitation to a televised survival tournament, “Fist of Legend.”

Next Up We have Stephen Chow takes us back on a Journey like when he first started staring in films. His next film Journey to The West delivers us a new trailer. The film stars Huang Bo, Shu Qi, Wen Zhang, Show Luo, Chrissie Chau and Stephen Chow Will be taking the back seat as a star and will be more hands on with the film by Directing and Producing Journey to The West.

Journey to The West hits the big screen in China on February the 7th of this year.

Plot: Based on one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature of the same name, Stephen Chow’s “Journey To The West” is a contemporary remake of the misadventures of a Buddhist monk as he makes a pilgrimage from China to India. The monk travelled to the “Western Regions” during the Tang Dynasty, to obtain sacred texts (sūtras). The bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara (Guanyin), on instruction from the Buddha, gives this task to the monk and his three protectors in the form of disciples – namely Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing – together with a dragon prince who acts as Xuanzang’s steed, a white horse. These four characters have agreed to help Xuanzang as atonement for their past sins.

Last We have the trailer for Takashi Miike’s next film  called Shield of Straw. The Film will have blood, guns, money, death, and all the other great things we see Miike shock us on. Shield of Straw stars Takao Osawa, Nanako Matsushima, Tatsuya Fujiwara and of course directed by Takashi Miike.

Shield of Straw will leave the audiences mouths open on April 26 2013 in Japan.

Plot: Ninagawa is a powerful man in Japanese politics and with top economic connections. His granddaughter is then murdered. The suspect is Kunihide Kiyomaru. Kunihide Kiyomaru has a prior conviction for assaulting and killing a girl 8 years ago. The police could never apprehend the suspect in the prior killing.

Three months after the murder of his granddaughter, Ninagawa places a whole page ad in the 3 big Japanese newspapers. The ad states “Please kill this man Kunihide Kiyomaru and I will pay you 1,000,000,000 yen as a reward.” Meanwhile, Kunihide Kiyomaru sees the ad and begins to fear for his life. Kunihide Kiyomaru then turns himself in at the Fukuoka Police Station. Five detectives from the security section (SP) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department travel to Fukuoka to escort Kunihide Kiyomaru back to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. The distance between Fukuoka and Tokyo is apprixmately 1,200 km. During their fateful trip, a significant portion of the Japanese population plot to kill Kunihide Kiyomaru. Many of those people, actually pursue Kunihide Kiyomaru while he goes back to Tokyo to get the 1 billion yen reward. The lonely fight of the five detectives to protect this man begins.
