Unfortunately for them, TANGE has developed a unique and deadly one-handed fighting style, which means his enemies will have their hands full — at least while they still have their heads!

My Thoughts |
One eye… One Arm… and a Million Ryo makes this film a bloody fun film to view.
Secret of the Urn is a fun watch starring Kinnosuke NAKAMURA who I have become a bigger fan with every film I see Him in. Here he is a one-armed and one eye ronin who has been kick to the curb by his clan after taking out a spy for them, but becomes disfigured during the sneaky attack by the spy. Kinnosuke NAKAMURA makes pulling out, swinging and killing opponents with one arm seem too easy.
Kinnosuke NAKAMURA kind of reminds me of Bruce Lee with his facial expressions and his good acting. This is a film of his that I say is a must own and I am happy to have this. The film is filled with good action, good plot, no nudity though lol, good acting by the lead, and this film is not to drawn out meaning its the perfect length keeping you entertain during the whole film. The picture quality of this film is pretty good for a DVD and AnimEigo does a great job on this release. The only negative thing for me is, I wish there were more blood.
With all of that being said I give The Secret of the Urn a 4.5 out of 5. A must own for Samurai film Collectors
