My Thoughts |
Listening is a Science thriller that has some good visuals. Two Poor Collage students proceed with risky experiments with Borrowed Lab Equipment to test mind bending communication or mind control. All Awhile a Government entity is doing the same.
The story was a good watch but does need some work on how Characters are introduced as we are abruptly introduced to new actors. Not much of a Character development on the lead roles and acting is OK with some moments of Good. The Stand out of the film is the score as its pretty good and the Visuals are pretty good at times but mostly its bland.
Overall the film was a decent watch. Slow at times but does get interesting. Intriguing concept, some good visual shots, some nudity, low-budget but at the same time it pushes its style from low-budget to pretty good-looking.
With that said I give Listening a 3 out of 5, I Like the story and concept but again it does need work. Better acting at times some cuts of the slower portions and add some more fun stuff and it would have been a better film. But hey, as it is it’s still a good view. Check the trailer and synopses and see if it’s for you.
