My Thoughts

The Tiger is an Action Adventure Drama Thriller that drives the viewer into to the Picture with its Great surround sound and Visuals. Choi Min-sik of Oldboy fame and a bunch of other great stuff kills his role in this film as he hunts for the last Tiger in Korea. Other forces are at work with the Japanese whom hold control over Korea are also hunting this four-legged beast.

The film Brings to the table a cool story with great I can’t believe this is CGI as it’s as realistic as it can be look. The Movie runs long but I didn’t find my self getting board or I didn’t feel like the story was not interesting as every minute fits with the film. Acting wise by boy Choi crushes his part and the rest of the cast is right behind him. As Noted above the Sound and Picture Quality is the best it can be on Blu-ray and just looks fantastic with its tones and Cinematography. We get a bit of every thing in this film, Family, Comedy, Gore, Action, Acting, Drama, sadness and a little bit of mystery.

Overall the movie was a great watch and I cant find much to bring this movie down. Maybe I wish it had a twist or three but a great story visually told with great acting and good-looking PQ and SQ drives this movie to a high rating.

With that said I give The Tiger a 4.5 out of 5. Choi Min-sik fans, Korean Film Viewers, and Over Movie Watchers that like good story and acting should check this one out. Well Go Did a Great Job here. Only down side is Not much of a Extra’s category here.

Note: I Know my speakers are way outdated. OPPO Blu-Ray Player is one of the best around and used in most home theaters. The Receiver is pretty good but on the line of out dated. Subwoofer is good with tons of bass but not the theater quality from a $400 Sub. Front speakers are fun with tons of power and are good for standalone’s but higher end sound (Hz) is lower quality. Overall I need to update on all speakers granted I do get decent sound out of them just the higher end falls short.
