The Cobbler is Adam Sandler’s next starring film and the difference his, he’s not directing it. From the trailer it looks like the film could be a good watch, not great and not for every one, but I feel it could be a fun story with some heart to it. Adam’s Charter is a Shoe Repair guy who finds an old shoe repair machine after his new one took the smoke and now he can step into anyone’s shoes transforming himself into them. Check the trailer below and let us know what you think.
The Cobbler Stars: Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Dan Stevens, Dustin Hoffman, Ellen Barkin, Method Man and at this point it has no theatrical release date. The movie gets me medium reviews from festivals which is better than the very bad reviews from his last films.
Plot: Max Simkin repairs shoes in the same New York shop that has been in his family for generations. Disenchanted with the grind of daily life, Max stumbles upon a magical heirloom that allows him to step into the lives of his customers and see the world in a new way. Sometimes walking in another man’s shoes is the only way one can discover who they really are.
