James Franco is Starring and Directing in this film called Child of God. The Trailer below is just a teaser and basically just shows that guys face for 40 some odd seconds and that’s it. I can’t really talk about the film as I don’t have much to go on and or can tell if its even going to be good. There is a ranking on IMDB and critics have put the ranking around 60 percent or it’s just fake votes.

Plot: Set in mountainous Sevier County, Tennessee, Child of God tells the story of Lester Ballard, a dispossessed, violent man whom the narrator describes as “a child of God much like yourself perhaps.” Ballard’s life is a disastrous attempt to exist outside the social order. Successively deprived of parents and homes and with few other ties, Ballard descends literally and figuratively to the level of a cave dweller as he falls deeper into crime and degradation
