Blue Steel With Jamie Lee Curtis.
I like the movie LA Confidential with Russel Crowe. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.
Mel Gibson in Leathal Weapon and in Mad Max.
Leonardo DiCaprio as Billy Costigan, Jr in The Departed.
Angel Eyes starring Jennifer Lopez
I think I’ll have to say “The Raid”. I know most people prefer the 2nd film, and while it was excellent, I personally enjoyed the confined atmosphere that the original steeped itself in. It almost felt like a horror film. Also, as incredible as he was in the second, Yayan Ruhian felt even stronger for me in the first due to his awesome one on one (or in the case of the end, one on two) fight scenes.
Jet Li in ” My Father’s a Hero”
Police story 1…set the standard….honorable mention to Hardboiled
Gene Hackman portraying Popeye Doyle in “The French Conection.”
My fave is Heat with Al Pacino.

John Woo’s Hard Boiled was my all time favorite police based movie. It had a great cast. Even had one of the Deadly Vemons as one of the bad guys and I think the stunt coordinator. The actor was over the top and Chow Yun Fat was waaaay cool and a superb actor in it! Soo many thing exploded in this film and the hospital scene at the end was just a perfect place to end the final show down. Lol! Perfect John Woo Film. My hard second has to be City of Violence! A Korean film. It’s a perfect revenge film with loads of Martial Arts. A cop joins up with his huligan friend to take revenge of their best friend getting murdered. It’s a must for Korean Martial arts films. Lots, I’m mean LOTS of martial arts full contact, and the main actor does his own stunts in it.
Die Hard
I think Police Story might be my favorite police movie. I know that’s a very uninteresting response, but Police Story has young Jackie Chan beating the crap out of people. ‘Nuff said.
Besides Police Story, I’d say John Woo’s Hard Boiled.
The Raid 2
Flashpoint! with Donnie Yen
