Audio/Video |
Audio Audio Language: English The sound quality is pretty good for DVD with no distortion, clear dialogue and had good bassy tones in the sound track. |
Picture Quality Disc Format: DVD Just like the sound quality the picture quality is pretty good for DVD. Sharp on close-ups colors pop and skin tones look good. As with DVD distant shots are more smooth and overall has a tad bit of a dull look as with all DVDs compared to Blu-Ray |

My Thoughts |
Blood Punch sounds like a horror movie but it’s not but I will say It has a Horror Element with Death and gore. It’s a cross of Breaking Bad and Groundhog Day. Drugs, hard trips, death, and a day that keeps recurring makes for a nice story-line. When someone dies, the body doesn’t disappear and remains the next day even when the person has re spawned and I have to say its a Fun View.
Story line has some good concepts with the mixing of cooking and selling drugs with the Groundhog Day factor mixed in made things fun. Gore was good but not a ton, Now it’s not ground breaking and or a blockbuster or even close to being as fun as Groundhog Day but it does hold its own. The budget of the film can’t be in the 10 million dollar range and I think it’s a low-budget film but looks good and acting wise is a decent as the story making the low-budget factor hardly visible.
Overall the film was enjoyable and I loved the concept. Of course things gets a tad slow and or over the top but all in all the film held my attention the whole time. I feel its re-watchable which makes this film a good buy.
With that said I give the film a 4 out of 5. If you think mixing breaking bad with Groundhog Day sounds fun. Then you should check this out.
