Plot |
ONG BAK 3 picks up where ONG BAK 2 concluded. Tien is captured and almost beaten to death before he is saved and brought back to the Kana Khone villagers.
There, he is taught meditation and how to deal with his Karma, but very soon his arch rival returns challenging Tien for a final duel.
My Thoughts |
The film starts off from the ending of Ong Bak 2. Tony Jaa has been captured and is now being tortured until death.
The film is more story oriented with a few fight scenes, and the first hour was mostly all story no action. The story dipped in and out of dream states and things that happened in the past.
The action was good but in some parts wasn’t as tony was just twirling guys around for 3 minutes by their head. From the reviews before I Viewed this film I was prepared to be disappointed but was looking forward to the action. As I said before not much action, so I was a little more disappointed in the film.
For what it is its is a film maybe worth renting unless you want to collect Tony Jaa films. Tony is now away in the mountings becoming a monk due to the stress involved in making the films along with the films (Ong Bak 2 and 3) failures. But I hope Tony pulls out of what ever rut he is in and if decided to make films again I will still wait for them and get pumped for what he makes.
Hopefully he lets the directors direct while he just focuses on being the main star in the films. My rating for this film is
2 out of 5
