Universal is planning a remake of Hughes’ 1985 sci-fi comedy Weird Science and they got screenwriter Michael Bacall (21 Jump Street remake) to do the writting. Joel Silver is going to produce the film and if you don’t know who he is he was the guy to direct the Original Weird Science.
No casting news on the film and or a date when it could hit the screens.
Another remake another Dollar, I’m not hating as it could be good and on the Plus side it will be rated R. In reality what remakes triumph the Original? Let me know below
