Woman In Black is getting a sequel and will pick up 40 years later where the film has left of. Woman In Black: Angel Of Death is the Title and will star Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), Phoebe Fox, Amelia Pidgeon and Tom Harper will be directing.
Woman In Black: Angel Of Death has no set date to release except that it will hit big screens in the UK in 2014. Woman In Black grossed $130 million world Wide and took $17 Million to make so I can see why a sequel is on the way and I would like to see Jeremy Irvine on the big screen again.
My Take: I see that the first film got mixed reviews, but I didn’t mind the film as it had some creepy/ jumpy parts. Also to see Daniel Radcliffe in a different role besides Harry Potter was an eye opener and that could have hurt the film some for others. The sequel I feel will be OK but not as enjoyable as the first.
Plot: 40 years after the first haunting at Eel Marsh House, a new couple moves in are haunted by the woman in black.
The new story is set during World War II after the government has seized the eerie Eel Marsh House and a group of evacuated children arrives to awaken its scary tenant
