Synopsis |
From director Massimo Dallamano, cinematographer on both A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More, comes giallo classic What Have You Done to Solange?, the debut feature of actress Camille Keaton (I Spit on Your Grave).
A sexually sadistic killer is preying on the girls of St. Mary’s school. Student Elizabeth witnessed one of the murders, but her hazy recollections of a knife-wielding figure in black do nothing to further the police’s investigations. Why is the killer choosing these young women? And what does it have to do with a girl named Solange?
Also starring Cristina Galbo (Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue) and Fabio Testi (I Spit On Your Grave), What Have You Done with Solange? features all the hallmarks of classic gialli – the amateur detective, the black-gloved killerl – as well as a lush score from Ennio Morricone. – Arrow Video
Audio/Video |
Audio Audio Language: Italian The Sound Quality is Good but not Great. The sound is a Little flat and some points of the film the Highs seem to clip. But Overall it’s still good sounding and with that said I love the Soundtrack to this film. |
Picture Quality Disc Format: Blu-Ray The Picture Quality is Great, Not five-star but when the extreme close-ups hit it’s definitely five-star quality. The film has good colors, great sharpness but at times it also seems to smooth. |

My Thoughts |
What Have You Done To Solange? is a Psychic Thriller slasher with Nice Nudity in High Def. The Film has almost everything you need in a Slasher except heaps of blood. What We have here is a Killer whose face we never see killing young girls and in fact all the killings are in first person view. So If you want to have that experience of killing with knives and strangling then I think this movie is for you. The Film also has as Mention at the start, nudity and a good amount.
The story of the film is good, not great. We have a guy killing girls, Detectives searching and a Young girl seeing the murders in her dreams at times and who is also sleeping with a guy that is married and is also the suspect. The negatives would be that the film is a little slow, no gore, no sexual acts. Yes we have Nudity but wall we get when it comes to rounding the bases are just make out sessions.
Overall the film was a good watch but feel it might be slow or less gory then others my like but for me the mystery and detective work in the film was good alongside the Nudity on the thriller portion of the film. Now I said its a slash film at the start but in reality is not or maybe just partly. One thing I want to note That I enjoyed a lot to this film was the soundtrack / Score.
With that I give this film a 4 out of 5 stars. Thriller, Mystery seekers, Nude Watchers and Arrow Video Film Collectors should pick this up.
